Briefly
describe
what
will
happen
DURING
the
SRT
activity:
The
teacher
will
use
the
Socrative
quiz
as
homework
collection
to
check
for
student
understanding.
This
will
be
used
as
a
formative
assessment
of
content
knowledge
in
order
to
determine
which
students
have
mastered
the
material.
The
students
will
return
to
school
the
following
day
and
complete
the
quiz
for
morning
work
at
their
own
pace.
Once
the
students
have
submitted
their
homework,
the
teacher
will
quickly
review
the
data
and
determine
which
students
still
have
misconceptions
about
different
life
cycles
in
plants
and
animals
before
moving
on
to
creating
models
of
a
life
cycle
of
the
student’s
choice.

right/wrong
answers
to
these
questions?

activity?
☒

☐
No
Why
or
why
not?
After
student
data
has
been
reviewed,
the
teacher
will
have
discussion
about
the
questions
the
majority
of
the
class
got
incorrect
in
order
for
students
to
be
able
to
recognize
and
understand
which
answer
was
correct
and
why.
Answers
will
be
displayed
for
students
during
this
time
for
them
to
visually
see
the
answer
and
verbally
hear
the
answer.
Describe
what
will
happen
AFTER
the
SRT
activity?
After
the
Socrative
activity
has
been
completed,
students
will
be
asked
to
create
a
model
of
a
life
cycle
of
their
choice.
This
activity
will
be
a
review
of
the
different
life
cycles
we
have
covered
during
the
week
for
some
students
but
for
others
this
activity
will
be
additional
instruction
they
need
in
order
to
create
a
life
cycle
of
their
choice
for
the
final
unit
project.
How
will
the
data
be
used?
Data
will
be
used
primarily
by
the
teacher
to
determine
individual
and
whole
class
understanding.
The
teacher
will
show
the
answers
the
class
got
correct
and
briefly
discuss
with
the
class
the
answers
students
got
incorrect.
Doing
this
will
help
students
recognize
and
understand
why
an
answer
they
chose
was
wrong
and
which
answer
was
correct,
in
hopes
to
improve
their
understanding
of
the
material.
Describe
your
personal
learning
goal
for
this
activity.
In
doing
this
activity,
I
hope
students
are
reviewing
the
material
we
have
covered
in
class
at
home.
I
will
be
able
to
see
which
students
have
completed
their
homework
and
which
students
have
not.
This
will
also
help
me
determine
if
the
way
that
I
am
teaching
the
material
is
effective
for
student
knowledge.

Student
Response

Assessment
Tools
Reflective
Practice:
After
creating
this
lesson,
I
feel
like
there
are
several
things
that
will
need
to
be
adjusted
to
help
support
student
learning
based
off
of
how
students
respond
to
the
first
time
I
use
this
activity.
I
thought
about,
what
if
all
the
students
submit
all
correct
responses
because
they
used
their
notes
to
complete
the
assignment
at
home.
Would
that
really
be
me
checking
their
understanding
of
the
material
we
have
covered
before
they
complete
a
unit
project?
Thinking
about
that,
I
believe
I
should
choose
this
activity
as
an
end
of
class
quiz
or
exit
ticket,
rather
than
a
homework
collection,
in
order
to
monitor
student
responses.
Also,
I
could
use
this
activity
as
a
summative
assessment
if
I
wanted
to
include
a
whole
unit
into
one
quiz
or
could
even
create
this
activity
to
be
focused
on
one
specific
life
cycle
rather
than
covering
the
whole
unit
on
life
cycles.
