ABOUT SYMBIOSIS
Symbiosis was founded by visionary Padma Bhushan Prof. (Dr.) S. B Mujumdar in the year 1971, based on the
principles of Vedic thought of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' - 'The World is one Family'. Symbiosis International
(Deemed University), Pune came into existence in 2002 and today is one of the leading educational universities in
India imparting quality education with an International flavor. Symbiosis is a family of 48 academic Institutions,

ABOUT SIMS
Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), Pune, India is a constituent of the prestigious Symbiosis
International (Deemed University). Established in the year 1993, SIMS, is UGC approved, ISO 9001:2015 certified
and accredited in Grade 'A' by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). SIMS has been ranked 3rd
under the category "Top B-Schools by Sector" for its MBA Executive in the country by "CSR-GHRDC" B-Schools
Survey 2017. SIMS has been ranked 25th by Economic Times, B-School ranking in October, 2017.

ABOUT SIMSARC'18
Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), Pune, organizes its Annual International Research Conference,
SIMSARC, with a view to provide an opportunity to researchers and scholars alike to publish or present their
research papers or only participate in the conference. This year too, as part of the Faculty of Management,
Symbiosis International (Deemed University), SIMS takes immense pleasure in announcing its 9th Annual
International Research Conference, SIMSARC'18 on 18-19 December, 2018.

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY
Accepted papers will be presented in the Research Conference. Based on quality of research work, authors will be
intimated about publication of their papers in ANY ONE of the following categories:
a. The International Journal of Digital Accounting Research (IJDAR). (SCOPUS Indexed)
b. International Journal of Public Sector Performance Management (IJPSPM) (SCOPUS Indexed)
c. International Journal of Corporate Finance and Accounting (IJCFA) (INSPEC Indexed)
d. Journal of Applied Management -Jidnyasa (i-Scholar, J-Gate Indexed): In house research journal of SIMS
Note: Students' papers will be published in student online research journal 'SIMS Journal of Management Research
[SIMSJMR] only.

PREVIOUS PUBLICATION OF SIMSARC

The number of papers which are accepted and presented in SIMSARC are sent for SCOPUS or equivalent indexed
journal for publication and more than 70% of papers are published in those journals each year in SIMSARC.

PRE-CONFERENCE RESEARCH WORKSHOP

A pre-conference research workshop will be organised exclusively for the participants of SIMSARC'18 on

17 December, 2018. There is no registration fee for this workshop.

AWARDS
Best paper will be awarded in each track, with a prize money worth,
Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,000 as I, II and III prize.

GUIDELINES TO AUTHORS
Information / Guidelines for Paper Presentation in SIMSARC'18:
¡ The paper should be an original work of the author(s) and be composed in not more than 5000 words.
¡ The research paper should have an abstract of 200 words with at least three keywords.
¡ Names of authors, address (postal and e-mail) & phone/fax numbers must be indicated in the paper.
¡ All research papers will be blind reviewed by an external panel of eminent experts.
¡ Papers adhering to prescribed requirements will be eligible for publication in the conference program subject to
one page limitation.
¡ One of the authors must pre-register for the conference within one week after acceptance of the paper to ensure
inclusion of the paper in the conference program.
¡ After the payment, applicants are required to mail the screen shot of NEFT / RTGS / DD number of the same at
simsarc@sims.edu
¡ Co-authors/participants participating along with main/presenting author need to pay additional INR 1000+GST.
¡ Accommodation will be available at INR 1410 (inclusive of GST) per day on twin-sharing basis to limited number
of participants on “first come first basis”.
¡ Only the papers which are presented in the conference will be sent for publication.
¡ In-absentia presentation is not allowed.
¡ An author can only submit maximum of 2 papers (one as the principal author and the other as co-author).
¡ Conference registration fee will not be refunded, under any circumstances.
