MEMO: All students registered in CPL courses

Any incidence of the following: forgery or misrepresentation of work hours, forgery of the employer’s signature,
misrepresentation of work conditions or completion, or other acts of misrepresentation or misleading of the College,
will incur the full weight of the Student Discipline policy and lead to a minimum penalty of zero (0) on the course and
suspension from the College for one semester, and up to and including expulsion from the College. The College may also
elect to turn over the matter to police authorities.

It should be noted that if a Visa student is suspended for one semester, the new CIC regulations state that the student
must return to his/her home country. The student is not permitted to stay in Canada if not studying and not on a
scheduled break.

Students are prohibited from engaging in any payment of funds to the employer for any reason. Such actions will be
considered in breach of policy.

Students aware of misrepresentation, or any other breach of College policy, are expected and required to report the
matters to College authorities. Failure to do so may cause the knowing student to be considered an accessory to the
action and cause the student to be subject to the Student Discipline policy, and may jeopardize the student’s standing
with the College.
