Mobile Dispatch
For special events, off-hour operations and major incidents, our Mobile
Dispatch supports full CAD/AVL capability enabling your field
supervisors to monitor and dispatch the fleet with the added flexibility and
responsiveness available through a mobile dispatch unit. In support of
on-board emergency situations, Mobile Dispatch allows supervisors or law
enforcement personnel, through WLAN, the ability to monitor real-time
video images streaming from the vehicle in distress. From a safe distance,
personnel are now better able to assess the situation and act accordingly
to better protect both operators and the riding public. The Windows-
based MDC provides control, security, scability and robust management
capabilities. In addition, because the application resides on the server,
any software updates at the fixed-end are automatically uploaded to each
Mobile Dispatch unit.
