This year’s graduation rite and moving up ceremony theme is, “Mag-aaral ng K to 12: Handa sa Pagharap
sa Hamon ng Buhay”. But let me ask you dear graduates and completers, “Handa na nga ba kayo?”. To
the Senior High School graduates, you have finished the required four JHS and two SHS years of your
secondary education. Many changing aspects contrived to mold you into mentally, physically, socially,
and spiritually empowered you to be ready to face universal challenges. Whether you continue your
educational journey to the K-12 Curriculum Program Kolehiyo, Trabaho, o Negosyo, your decision lies
greatly not on your parents’ choices but solely on YOUR own choice. Poverty nowadays is not and never
will be a hindrance to your success. Remember, what you have learned from your teachers since Grade 7
up to Grade 12 will have the greatest impact in making your lives a success.
And to you, Junior High School completers, I hope you will not leave the portals of your Alma Mater.
Wherever you will be, still Banna National High School will be a part of your high school lives. The greatest
challenge for you is to uphold your commitment to achieving education and in continuing search for
excellence. You haven’t received your diploma yet, so continue your studies, guided with the values
inculcated by your parents, guardians, teachers, relatives and friends. Remember, your value will always
define who you are.
To the teachers, parents and guardians of these graduates and completers, you are the greatest source
of love and support, next to our Almighty Father, of your children. Continue working harder for your
children’s future. Never get tired of giving them the financial, emotional, and most importantly, spiritual
sustenance. Your efforts will receive the greatest return of investment when you will receive not only their
high school diplomas but also their college diplomas and certificates.
My dear Senior High School graduates and Junior High School completers, congratulations and I wish you
good luck on your future endeavor.
