In English, like in every other language, we greet different people in different ways. Decide
whether the following greetings are for formal or informal situations.

Vocabulario relacionado con direcciones:

Go past: Continuar hasta que pases algún punto de referencia, como una calle.
Go across: Cruzar, como una calle o intersección.
Go along: Continuar en una calle.
Go straight on: Continuar sin girar a la derecha o izquierda.
Go up: Sube.
Go down: Baja.
Go out of: Salir.
It´s in front of you: Está al frente de tí.
It’s opposite to the bank: Está opuesto (contrario) al banco.
It´s on the corner: Está en la esquina.

About myself

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. How do you do everybody? My


name is Marco Brito. I'm from Venezuela. I'm studying engineering in systems and
computer science in this university and I'm also a graduate in mathematics, for this
reason, I’m teacher and my job is located in front of passenger terminal on
Cuatricentenaria Avenue.

Moreover, I have a good main family; they are my parents, my brothers,


my nephew, my dear son and my beloved wife. My dad is Mexican he was born in
Mexico D.F, my other relatives are Venezuelans.

As regards to my hobbies, I like to play soccer, watching video tutorials on


the internet and soccer games on the TV, and riding on bike. And also, I like going
to the malls.
