Dear Donors,

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude as a recipient of the 2018 Central Philippine

University Alumni Association of Southern California Recognition Award. I felt so blessed and
thankful upon knowing that I was selected to garner the said award.

I have just begun my undergraduate career as freshmen in a field of Bachelor in Special Needs
Education. Growing up in a less privileged community has not only offered financial and
academic challenges, but also helped me realized the value of a college education. Through this
recognition award you lightened my financial burden of asking financial support to my parents.

Once again thank you so much for your generosity and support. I promise you, I will work
efficiently and eventually give something back to others, both in service for god and possibly a
scholarship to future students like myself.
