There’s a corner in my mind

A place away from this cell.

There’s a shadow under the blind

A silhouette I know so well.

There’s a place in my head

Or is it a person? For it I fell.

A shelter that doesn’t need a bed

Without it I’m a shell.

Nothing to lose, nothing to care

A crack and I’m gone, hanged, without air.

My mind of castle, that corner; of vanity

The things that keeps me, me.

The sanity to my insanity

The things that makes me, see.

Dark Minds

Tree, bark, root, branch

Leaf, vein, sunlight, blind

Tired, rest, peace, sleep

Hollow, empty, day, pass

Night, dark, day, same

Life, gloom, none, hope

Rope, knot, chair, fan

Tie, neck, end, story

Inane Inanes (Empty and Meaningless) But silent I hear, I felt your absence.

Alone I realized my heart; I scathe

Across water, the seven seas Angered; I cursed, I screamed, I growled.

I float on a current that never cease. Still none listens to a man on a swathe.

Come storms, the serpents, I’ll never flee Cried, I gave, I began to howl.

Trusting The Edges for me to see.

Far and unseen my precious home

Touch, heard, wife’s bracelet; chrome.

Smell, taste, her hair and lips

Just dreams I see during my sleeps.

Alone, I wonder, I wander and sail

Thinking the face behind that veil.

Dreamt to hold, embrace her tight

Dreams but dreams to go through these

Alas, The Edge, here, I set my print

New place, new land but then I squint.
