1- Handset with indicator light: Indicates an incoming call (flashing red) or new voice message
2- Phone screen: Shows information about your phone such as directory number, call and line
status
3- Programmable feature buttons and Session buttons: Programmable feature buttons
(left side): Use to view calls on a line or access features such as Speed Dial or All Calls,
Session buttons (right side): Use to perform tasks such as answering a call, resuming a held call
4- Soft key buttons: answer, hold, end call, call pickup, meet me and conference

5- Transfer button: Transfers active calls to another extension.

6- Conference button: Creates a conference call.


7- Hold/Resume button: Places an active call on hold and resumes the held call.

8- Navigation and select button: scroll through menus, highlight items and select the
highlighted item.
9- Headset button: Toggles the headset on or off.

10- Speakerphone button: Toggles the speakerphone on or off.


11- Dial pad: Functions as traditional telephone keypad.

12- Mute button: Toggles the microphone on or off.

13- Volume button: Controls the handset, headset, and speakerphone volume (off hook) and
the ringer volume (on hook)
14- Message button: Provides access to message (voice mail) system.
15- Applications button: Use the Applications button to access call history, user
preferences, phone settings, and phone model information.
16- Contacts button: Opens or closes the Directories menu. Use the Contacts button to
access personal and corporate directories.
17- Handset: Phone handset.

2) User Self Provisioning


When the IP Phone connected to the network it will auto register with dummy Extension, every
user have to know his own extension for self-provisioning.

Step1: Lift the handset, you will hear a recorded message says “to self-provision this device enter
the Self-provisioning number followed by the bound key (#).
Step2: Enter your extension starting with 86734XXX and press #.
Step3: your phone will restart and come back with full configurations (Actual Extension, Display
Name and Privileges)

3) Phone Screen

1- Header: Displays date, time, and directory number.


2- Line text label with icon: Displays text label and icon for phone or intercom line, speed-dial
numbers, or services, depending on your configuration.
3- Primary line details and other phone information: During a call, displays details for the
primary line. If not on a call, displays line text label and other information such as placed calls,
speed dials, and phone menu listings.
4- Secondary line details and other phone information: Displays line label and call details for the
secondary line and other phone information such as placed calls, speed dials, and phone menu
listings.
5- Soft key labels: Displays soft keys for available features or actions.

4) Basic operations
 Make a Call: pick up the handset and enter the number you want to reach.
 Make a Call with a Headset: Plug in a headset, Enter a number using the keypad and
Press Headset
 Make a Call with the Speakerphone: Enter a number using the keypad then Press
Speakerphone
 Answer a Call: Lift the handset. If you are using the speakerphone, press the Answer soft
key or the Speaker button.
 Put a Call on Hold: Press Hold , to resume press hold again
 View Your Recent Calls: Press Applications , Select Regents then select a line to
view
 Transfer a Call to Another Person: during active call, press Transfer . Enter the
other person’s phone number. Press Transfer again.
 Mute Your Audio: Press Mute , Press Mute again to turn mute off.
 Listen to Your Voice Messages: Press Messages and follow the voice prompts. To
check messages for a specific line, press the line button first.
 Forward All Calls: Select a line and press forward all. Dial the number that you want to
forward to, to receive calls again, press forward off.

 Establish\End Conference call


Step 1 During a call, press the Conference button to open a new line and put the first
party on hold.
Step 2 Place a call to another number.
Step 3 Press Conference button again to add the new party to the call.
Step 4 Perform any of the following steps to end a conference call:
Hang up the handset, or press the Cancel soft key. Depending on the configuration, when
the conference call initiator disconnects, the conference call terminates.

To end the conference and remain connected to the most recent call, press the Conf soft
key. The older call is placed on hold.

5) Search in corporate directory


You can look up a coworker's number from your phone, which makes it easier to give them a
call.
To dial a contact in corporate directory:

Procedure
Step 1: Press Contacts
Step 2: Select Corporate Directory.
Step 3: Select search criteria.
Step 4: Enter your search criteria and press Submit.
Step 5: Select the contact.
Step 6: Press Call

6) Dialing Internal Extension


The internal phone Extension consists of 8 Digits start with 86734XXX
8 is access code
673 is HQ site code
4XXX is the internal extension
The user has to dial only the least significant four digits starting with 4XXX

Procedure

Step2: lift the handset or click new call


Step3: Dial the Extension you need directly starting with 4XXX

8) Dialing External Number (long distance, mobile and


international)
Procedure
Step2: lift the handset or click new call
Step3: Dial 9, then you will hear a second dial tone
Step4: dial the number you want

Example: if you need to dial a mobile number 01XXXXXXXXX, you have to dial
901XXXXXXXXX, the same concept applies when you dial local, national or international
number.

9) DID Range (inbound calls from PSTN)


In order to be reached from outside, the user must has DID number. The DID number consists of
the Country Code (+2) + National Code (02) + Subscriber Number.

Where the subscriber number consists of the prefix 2673 + the four digit internal Extension
starting with 4

For Example: if you want to reach the extension 4101 from outside, you have to dial 02
26734101.

10) Operator Dialing


10.1) Internally

To reach the Operator internally (inside the company), Dial 0

10.2) Externally

To reach the operator from outside (through PSTN), either dial 02 26734000 or 02 26734001
