admission to the MBA programme 2018-2020 in the Department of Management Studies,
NIT Silchar:

Important Points:

1. The candidate who is provisionally selected for admission to the MBA Programme 2018-
20 has to submit the Registration Fee (without hostel accommodation) of amount
Rs 87,370 (Rupees Eighty Seven Thousand Three Hundred and Seventy Only)
through online on or before 25th June, 2018.

2. The detailed fee structure will be available in the Institute Website (www.nits.ac.in).

The candidates are advised to submit the requisite amount of FEES, ONLINE through SBI
online portal (www.onlinesbi.com).

Step for Online Payment

I. Open the Website: (www.onlinesbi.com)

II. Select “State Bank Collect” tab at the top.
III. Click check box at the bottom, accept and proceed.
IV. Under State Bank Collect
V. State of Institute > Assam
VI. Type of Institute > Education Institute > Go.
VII. Educational Institute Name > Select “Online fee collection account NIT Silchar”
for admission fees payment > Select payment category and fill the required filed and
submit.

3. If the candidates fail to deposit the requisite amount of registration fee within the
stipulated date (25th June, 2018), their candidature shall be treated as cancelled and
the vacant seats will be offered to the next waitlisted candidates.

4. After making the online payment, save the receipt copy in pdf format and email the
same to nits.mba.admission@gmail.com (on or before 25th June’ 2018) along with
the following information

(c) Full Address with Ph. No. and e-mail address:
(d) Serial (Merit) number and Regd. No. in the List (with Category)

5. Course Registration will commence tentatively on 19th and 20 July, 2018. Classes
will commence from 23rd July 2018. During the Course Registration the
candidates have to report in person.

6. For the candidates opting for Hostel Accommodation have to deposit Rs 28,630
( Rupees Twenty Eight Thousand Six Hundred and Thirty Only) as hostel

charges at the time of Course Registration i.e. 19th and 20 July, 2018.

7. The candidates are requested to bring all the Documents in Original (educational
qualification, caste certificate, CAT/MAT/CMAT score card etc.) for Verification by
the Office of the Dean (Academic Affairs), NIT Silchar at the time of Course
Registration. Failing to produce original documents during course
registration/admission may lead to cancellation of the candidature.

8. Candidates in the waiting list are advised to check the status in the website after 26th
June’ 2018.
