Patrick Endorses Peter Flores in Senate District 19 Runoff Election

HOUSTON, TX – Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick reiterated his endorsement
of Republican Peter Flores in the Senate District 19 Special Election and pledged his
support in the upcoming runoff campaign. Senate District 19 is a sprawling 17-
county district anchored in San Antonio. The Lt. Governor issued the following
statement:

“I was proud to endorse Pete Flores in the Senate District 19 Special Election where
he pulled off a stunning upset by coming in first place in a so-called Democrat
district. Democrats have held this seat for decades, but Pete’s common-sense
conservative message clearly has struck a cord. I have pledged my support to Pete
and his campaign. This is a great opportunity for all of Texas to add another
conservative to the Texas Senate who will fight for the principled policies that are
keeping the Texas economy strong.”

Senate District 19 includes parts of Bexar and Atascosa counties and all of
Brewster, Crockett, Dimmitt, Edwards, Frio, Kinney, Maverick, Medina, Pecos, Real,
Reeves, Terrell, Uvalde, Val Verde and Zavala counties.
