Dr. Anna Allred Kicks Off Campaign

KATY, TX – Dr. Anna Allred, kicked off her campaign for Texas State Representative,
District 28, to replace her retiring colleague, Dr. Zerwas. Dr. Allred lives in the Cinco
Ranch area of Ft. Bend County.

“I have a deep and abiding desire to serve my community and the Great State of
Texas,” said Dr. Allred. “I work daily in a health care system that works well for
some, but not everyone. As a physician, I see society through a different lens.

“I’m a conservative who believes that government is more likely to be the problem
than the solution. It’s the private sector innovation and individual initiative that
makes Texas the very best place to live. I understand the issues and concerns that
impact the health, welfare, safety and lives of all Texans.

“I will work tirelessly, with commitment, expertise and passion on behalf of the
voters of this District as well as all citizens in the state of Texas,” Dr. Allred
concluded.

Dr. Allred is Board Certified in Anesthesia and holds a Subspecialty Certification in
Critical Care. She earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M, graduated
medical school at UT Health Science Center-San Antonio, trained at UT
Southwestern in Dallas in General Surgery and Anesthesia and completed a
Fellowship in Critical Care from Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
