1.0 Background:

In the coming decades, the technologies driving the Fourth Industrial Revolution will transform the entire
structure of the economy, communities and human identities. With artificial intelligence spreading around
the world, we need to focus on building systems that minimize risks and improve the human condition.
It has always been the nation’s aspiration to nurture and augment the potential of our youths. Various
programmes and initiatives have been spearheaded to motivate, empower and move our youths forward to
be more analytical, evaluative, critical and creative. It is strongly believed that when the younger
generations are trained and empowered with such higher order thinking skills (HOTS), they will be able
to stand on their own feet and face the unpredictable challenges ahead confidently.
Other than awakening, inspiring and enabling the younger generations with such robust capabilities and
mental readiness, International Youth Development Conference also promotes cultural understanding and
exchange of developmental ideas learning interventions. Participants of the conference will not only come
from Malaysia, but also internationally. Workshop Facilitators and Speakers are Specialists in their
respective field, including qualified and learned academicians as well as certified practitioners with vast
international exposure.

Aim:
To prepare our Youths to be ready for the fourth Industrial Revolution.

Objectives:
1. Prepare mental readiness to face the societal changes in the new era.
2. Ignite creativity for high order thinking skills (HOTS) & problem solving capabilities.
3. Familiar with scientific and technological interventions for better understanding of human brain.
4. To increase awareness of the comprehensiveness and speed of the technological revolution.
5. Align career goals with the inevitability of the growth of Artificial Intelligence.
6. Promote a platform for Youth to meet and exchange ideas on digital transformation.
