Introduction

I had better start by explaining what a mermaid is. A mermaid is something normally thought of a type of water

spirit, an elemental. An elemental is a spirit which is normally thought of a being representative of that ancient

element. By ancient element I mean those elements originally thought of as being classifications of what the world

was made up of, not the table of elements. It has the upper body of a human woman but the bottom half has a tail

and bottom half of a large fish. There also are mermen some of which are human above the waist and fish below,

but some of which have fishes scales above and below: depending on the tradition of sightings we are referring to:

although mer-people still get seen today in large numbers.

You may however not want to get caught up on this old element theory: a position I completely understand: but

in this case if we can use this to our advantage then it seems sensible to do so. Basically elementals in all

likelihood exist because people still believe in them: which makes sense because they still get seen, which yes I

know is a circular argument. But the use of mermaids, or mermen in the magic will only strengthen the magic, it

cannot weaken it. Also using mermaids or people adds another element: because the type of magic describes uses

water we are therefore adding the power of water to our spells. But I don’t want you to get too bogged down by

the details just yet. But remember the way of working the magic spells in this book also help you get keyed in to

work the magic: get into the right state of mind. In many ways the type of working also acts as a trigger, and your

mind knows you are working magic.

Some of you may be familiar with candle magic and see a similarity with the magic here. That is because in

many ways they are doing the same thing, only the mermaid water magic does it much better and more practically.

Many people who have performed candle magic have known the problems of not having the right amount of

candles, or none at all: and wondering what to do. Also the constant cost of buying new candles, or having the

candles and no match or a lighter which doesn’t work. The magic in this book while being much more powerful

also is much more practical: water comes out of the tap and everyone has cups available or what would you drink

out of.

But the mermaid water magic isn’t just altered candle magic, there are elements and details which add much

more power but also subtlety too. Once you have read this book there will be no need to use candle magic ever

again. If you have never practiced candle magic this is even better as the type of magic I describe in this book I

think of immensely superior in many ways. You very soon will understand its simplicity and also subtlety.

Chapter 1

So you are now ready to try the mermaid water magic. Well first I will describe some basic facts about it. To

use mermaid water magic you will require three cups: they can be glasses, mugs any type of drinking vessels and

they need not be special in any way as you can use whatever type of drinking vessel you ordinarily use. You will

also require water, not a lot and it should not prove problematic in obtaining this: just get it from your tap as

required. Some of you may wonder why three glasses? Well I was going to tell you any way. The reason for three

is that this is one of the subtler elements in the mermaid water magic. If you have before you two glasses one at

your right and one at your left: places slightly ahead of you: and you then place a third in front of you and in front

of the other glasses you have a the alchemic symbol for water. This is because you have a triangle with the point

facing you: and if looked at from above is a triangle with the point facing downwards: the alchemical symbol for

water. So not just are we using water, but we are also using the symbol for water too which will strengthen the

magic.

 Also when casting the spell we will be using and calling upon an elemental: a mermaid or merman if you

choose and so using the power of an elemental spirit: these elementals when commanded can also be thought of as

being servitors or even Goddesses. A servitor is a magical servant which has enough intelligence to do your will

in more creative ways than a normal magic spell. Servitors are also more powerful than magic spells. So by

utilising a mermaid you are also using a servitor or getting help from God. In terms of the mermaid servitor versus

God belief: I think it is best to regard them as magical beings only. There are many water Gods and Goddesses and

it is best to regard them as magical beings and tools to be called upon when required. All you need to know is that

you through them you can get more help and strength for your spells.

So now we will move onto our first mermaid water magic spell. This is a very small ceremony which will

Before you start

Before you start place the two empty cups on a table. Place an empty cup to your right, slightly back. Put

another empty cup to your left: slightly back. Place the cup with water in directly in front of you. You should now

have three cups on a table: only one filled with water. The one with water should be in front of you and the two

empty cups at your right and left, behind the full cup.

The above is quite a simple magic spell to get started with. It allows you to see how mermaid water magic

works. Also one point, you needn’t necessarily call upon a mermaid you can just as easily call upon a merman, or

mer-spirit. I simply use mermaid here, however always stick the general manner of the magic spell: do not alter

and add cups, and never pour out all the water. Once the magic spell has finished just pour the water away and

wash the cup: yes I know it has water in it anyway, but it must be cleaned. The reason not to drink the water right

now is that a water spirit could literally possess you if you drink the water. This isn’t something I want you to

worry about right now, because we are throwing the water away.

Think of the cups in the way a catholic priest would the chalice; he rings a bell so that no demons possess the

chalice which would demonically possess the priest: also note the high pitch sound of bells hurts demons and so

moves them away which is why the priest rings a bell. We need to bell for what we do, and we aren’t drinking the

water. There are types of magic where people would drink the water, but this isn’t part of the magic spell

described above. Here is another magic spell to give you the magical power of the mermaid: it is there to

increase your power and, it can be used to precede other magic spells, or magical practices. Think of it as being

charged up with magical energy.

The last magic spell is a good one to perform daily as it will increase your magic power and will help you in

many ways, and it will also make you more difficult to curse, as with the gained energy it is more likely to bounce

back at the person who sent it. It will also give you greater energy in other ways and you may find you are less

tired and more vigorous during days when the magic spell has been cast.
Chapter 2

Now that you have tackled and now understand the basic technique of mermaid water magic, you can now

proceed to more powerful spells. But there are still a few things I wish to clarify. The basic technique of mermaid

water magic is one which is practical and powerful but one which you will find has greater power with practice.

With practice and repetition you will find that your mind and spellcasting technique gets very much in tune with

this type of magic. The ceremony with the cups will in time help you pull out the proper state for the working of

magic and thus increase the power of the spells. But the type of magic also is quite powerful and you will find

some success right away. For this reason I have decided the best way is to put the magic spells in this book in

order of difficulty, and so this book is not just a book on the completely new type of magic, but also a course for

those new to magic in general.

Because of this the first magic spells in this chapter will very much be about you, and what you want. But the

strength of the magic in this book is that the basic technique can be utilised to cast a spell for anything at all.

However complete this book first before experimenting, if you wish to do so. I say this so that you fully understand

the magic in this book. Next we are going to cast a magic spell to provide opportunities for career success.

Magic spell to provide opportunities for career success

When you have finished pour the water from the glasses back into the one drinking vessel and empty it

somewhere in a sink or wherever and wash all drinking vessels out. The thing to remember about the last spell is

that it provides career chances and opportunities you must still decide to take them. It will facilitate things in your

life, which is one of the easiest forms of magic and also the most powerful. Don’t get me wrong usually in life we

must do something magic is a tool, or set of tools, but there are many others you can utilize in your life too. Next is

a magic spell for protection from curses. It is a good idea to get into the habit of casting protective spells for

yourself as it will bring you protection from curses and other supernatural things, like entities etc… Although the

last magic spell increased the energy and therefore gave you some protection this magic spell is specifically for

protection and so will have a much stronger protective effect. As before you need the three cups one filled with

water and they should be set out as first stated.

The last spell being specifically for protection will give you much protection from curses. But of course from

a magic spell you want more than just mere protection, you want positive things too. One thing which magic can do

is to help you with good luck. Many people want good luck, but you should remember that if a good luck magic

spell is cast generally and not for a specific thing then it’s effect will be lessened it will be spread thin. But also

remember that good luck is also a matter of scale, using good luck to win a lottery is very, very, difficult magic

because everyone in a lottery wants to win and many will be casting spells. It is like a poor man wanting to hex the

wealth of a man who is super rich: it is a matter of scale and his curse will have little if any affect because he is

poor and the other man super rich.

However a good luck spell has some uses, it can help to make life a little easier to grease the wheels of life,

make things easier and bring more opportunities to you, and in many ways a good luck spell is a good thing to cast

alongside the career opportunities spell that was at the start of this chapter. Therefore here is a good luck magic

spell.

The last magic spell will help your life and make things easier and will make your life better and will mean

that anything you wanted to do or opportunities you see now is the time to at least look into them and in all

likelihood move forward with them. Remember however all of the magic spells in this chapter could be

strengthened by casting the spell magic spell from chapter one to gain the mermaids magic energy first. This will

allow you to power up first and so strengthen the magic spell. But if you have already cast this spell on that day

then you do not need to: in fact you don’t need to at all as the spell can be quite powerful. But remember you must

also will the spells to happen. Another thing about the magic spells it that I have used the term mermaid

throughout. But you can just as correctly use the word merman or mer-person instead. I appreciate that many

people may feel more comfortable using the term merman instead of mermaid as mermaids have for many light and

TV movie connotations that they may be uncomfortable with. This is ironic really as mermaids and mermen can

also have quite dark connotations and that is why we don’t drink the water from the ceremonies.

Chapter 3
This chapter will reveal more about mermaid water magic it will also provide you with more practice and

more magic spells for you to use. So far you have been shown some main details about mermaid water magic,

about how to cast the spells and use the three vessels for the ceremony. So far I have only shown you some basic

spells but you will find that this chapter has spells which are a little more powerful and even more difficult

although the basic methods will stay the same. As I explained mermaids are normally thought of as being

elementals: a representation of the element water. Some types of western astrology use the concept of elements and

water is dominant in those people born n the signs Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces: this being worked out from the

precise time and place of birth and not just the month of birth the latter being sun signs and not usually taken as

being your true astrological sign. But these water personalities are thought of as being, sympathetic, empathic,

imaginative, intuitive, but also can be cold, sentimental irrational and jealous.

Normally I tend not to advise people to get too involved in adding too many classical elements into their

magic. I advise this to stop people getting into a tangled mess where they cease to be flexible in what they can do.

But these natural water element characteristics actually are quite helpful in some ways. Therefore insofar as this

theory can help then I find no problem with utilising it. So if you want yourself or a person to be more sympathetic,

empathic, imaginative, or cold sentimental of jealous then from a classical elemental perspective you have a

running start. Much of the use of these elements is based upon belief of these, but like I said if they are of use then

why not use them. Because of this the next magic spell will be to help you think of new ideas.

The last magic spell will be very useful to inspire you, it can help you think of ideas of any types,

technological, creative, help you produce new creative works: break through writers block. You will find your mind

plugged into new creative ideas. Don’t worry if the ideas seem to come too fast as this magic spell will wear off

and if you need the effect you will need to recast it. The next magic spell again concentrates upon some aspect of

water element psychological traits. There may have been times when you realise that either you or another

didn’t know how another really felt and thought being able to do this would be helpful. Ordinarily there is nothing

that can be done, but this magic spell changes that. The next magic spell is all about empathy and being empathic:

knowing how others feel.

Remember however that the empathy is not always a good thing, it has a downside too and the last spell should

be used carefully. Also the magic spell can be used to understand how a particular person feels. To know how a

particular person feels use the next version of that magic spell.

In some situations you may also want a particular person to be more empathic and here is a version of the

empathic spell for this.

The magic spell above can change a person a lot. The reason many people don’t care about others is that they

don’t know what others feel, and when they do it changes them and how they behave towards others. The magic

spells here are a good way to get used to working magic and to get into the swing of things. But bear in mind that

being an empath is the first step for many to becoming psychic and so the magic spells can also be used with

psychic development exercises to help you or another develop psychic ability. There are of course other things

which the water element if ideally suited to and I will cover some of these in the next chapter.

Chapter 4

As explained in the last chapter there are some things which the element water are ideally suited to. I also

explained that normally I would advise people not to get too restricted by theory as much of the theory is really

about belief and I don’t want you to get stuck into playing dungeons and dragons. However when the theory helps

you then why not use it and here in the start of this chapter I will continue with some magic spells which can be

made more powerful because of the water element used. There are situations where we all need to be more
