MEMORANDUM FOR: Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology High School JROTC

Cadets

SUBJECT: JROTC Uniform/Conduct Contract

1. All cadets participating in the Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology High School
JROTC program will follow the requirements listed below. Failure to comply with any
of the stipulated requirements is grounds for recommended cadet release from the JROTC
program or denial of re-enrollment.

2. Requirements.

a. Cadets adhere to the uniform wear requirements set forth in Cadet Command
Regulation 145-2 and Army Regulation 670-1. Some requirements include:

(1) Uniform will be worn weekly.

(2) Uniforms will be worn with rank, insignias and awards.

(3) Uniform will be kept clean.

b. Cadets must maintain appearance requirements set forth in Cadet Command

Regulation 145-2 and Army Regulation 670-1. Some requirements include:

(1) Cadets must shave facial hair to comply with appearance mandate

(2) Haircuts must be within regulation (males no braids; females hair must fit
under head gear or hat).

(3) Jewelry- no nose ring in uniform; and no earring for males.

c. Be active in the JROTC Cadet Corps; participate in a minimum of one JROTC

sponsored event.

d. Complete a minimum of 10 hours of service learning/community service.

e. Respect your fellow cadets; follow cadet chain of command orders to the best of
your ability.
3. As cadets, you represent the Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology High School
and are expected to always strive to achieve the highest standards in conduct, appearance
and leadership excellence.

I, the undersigned, having reviewed the memorandum referenced to the subject agree to
all the requirements stated therein. Further, I understand that failure to adhere to these
requirements could result in demerits, reduction in rank and possible dismissal from the
JROTC program or denial of re enrollment.
