• During my time at EPCC I had the opportunity to join the Eco-
Club and shortly after became an officer; I held the Historian
position. As a member and officer of this club I got to help
fundraise for the school’s recycling program, clean out parks, and
spread the message of the importance of being eco-friendly. I was
also a recipient of two scholarships.

• During my time at RHS I got to join the following extracurricular
activities: Cross-Country, Basketball, Track and Field, and
National Honor Society. In track and field I earned over 30
medals and was announced MVP of my team my senior year. As
an NHS member I became an officer, helped run the program, and
did community service hours. I graduated top ten percent of my
class and was awarded The Ranger Award at graduation (only five
girls and five boys are picked for this award).

• During my time at EPAE I attended accelerated courses and had
sophomore credits before the end of my freshman year. Although
it is a small school, as a freshman, I was the only one of the whole
school to score commended on the MATH TAKS test.

• As a substitute teacher I create a positive learning environment for
students, during the absence of their teacher. I give instructions on
activities and answer students’ questions accordingly.

Montwood Middle School, — Internship


SEPTEMBER 2017 - NOVEMBER 2017
• During my internship I planned and carry out developmentally
appropriate lesson plans on the daily basis, for grades 6th through
8th. I made appropriate modifications on the lessons and activities
depending on progress, skill-level, disabilities, etc. I volunteered
to help coach basketball after school hours and help out at the
games. I also volunteered with school events such as student vs.
faculty games, and as a chaperone for peter piper pizza lock-ins
and school dances. Other duties I had included directing
crosswalks and traffic, and hallway monitor.

Loma Verde Elementary School, — Internship


JULY 2017 - SEPTEMBER 2017
• I started my internship at Loma Verde elementary where I
planned and carry out developmentally appropriate lesson plans
on the daily basis, for grades K-5th. I had to make appropriate
modifications depending on progress, skill-level, disabilities, etc.
Other duties included hallway monitor and lunch-time monitor.
During my internship I also got to attend professional
development sessions.
