1. A. Complete fee for ITM * 10 000 € for 2 years
or B. Complete fee for UP for SADC-countries *. SADC countries ± 130 000 ZAR for 2 years
are: Angola, Botswana, DRC, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, (= ± 8965 € – rate 29/03/2018)
Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa,
Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
or C. Complete fee for UP for non-SADC countries * ± 175 000 ZAR for 2 years

2. A. Subsistence costs for Belgium (accommodation included: Estimated 1300 € per month
± 350 – 500 € per month)
B. Subsistence costs for South Africa (accommodation included: Estimated 10 000 ZAR per month

How many months you will stay in Belgium or South Africa

depends on the modules you choose and on the topic of your
thesis.
3. International travel (3 tickets: induction week, thesis work, Variable
defence)

5. A. Health Insurance for Belgium ± 50 € per month

B. Health Insurance for South Africa ± 1500 ZAR per month

the scholarship is to be managed by ITM financed by a government or non-
