AAA Clowns Costumes & Make-Up

Costumes
There will be a costume design class during the school. Each student executes a
costume design with support from Ms. Stricklin and parents or other family members.
The students will discuss and perform design tasks in class, and they will discuss how
to choose fabrics from local fabric stores. A base costume will be chosen, and students
will design accessories to achieve their overall theme. Students will be asked to provide
their own decorated shoes and socks or tights that coordinate with their costume.
Parents have a choice to have a seamstress sew the costume designed by the student
or rent one for $25 from the costume inventory. All costume designs must be approved
by Ms. Stricklin.

Shoes and socks or tights are due Thursday, November 5.

Each student will be responsible for taking care of their costume throughout the year.
Students will be required to replace any lost or damaged items given to them by the
school.

Make-Up
All make-up will be stored and transported in a caboodle or other similar container.
Tackle boxes are a good alternative. Students will provide these containers. Please
ensure that the container is large enough to hold all items, has a handle and securely
closes.

White foundation and a color palette will be provided for all students. Students will be
asked to replace these if lost or damaged.

Please see the caboodle checklist for additional items that are requested from students.

Caboodles and all contents are due Monday, October 15th.

If assistance for any purchase(s) is needed, please email Jenny Stricklin at

jennifer.stricklin@hsv-k12.org. All requests are strictly confidential.
