WHETHER OR NOT DOG OWNER ARTHUR SISON IS LIABLE TO PAY MARY

BANAG DAMAGES FOR INJURIES SUSTAINED FROM DOG BITE

Fred Puzon, twenty-one (21) years old, testified that on September 12, Saturday,
at about 3 p.m., he was waiting on Annapolis Street for his friend when he saw Mary
Banag near Arthur Sison’s house at 12 Annapolis St. to buy ice-candies. Mary
approached Arthur’s gate and knock on it but no one answered. As Mary tested the gate
by pushing it, the gate yielded and the dog jumped out and came out of the yard. The
dog went after her and attacked her from behind as she turned and ran to leave. The
dog bit Mary’s leg and even her arms as she fell to the ground.

Fred immediately ran to help her and kicked the dog away to protect Mary from
further attacks. Arthur then came out of his house, sent his dog into his yard and
brought Mary to a nearby clinic for treatment.
