Title Animals Habitat
Learner Group: Elementary
Objective:
Student will be able to identify the different kind of habitat.
To make the child aware of his role and responsibility to the environment.
Student will learn to value and appreciate the important of habitat.
Content:
Habitat – is the natural environment where animals live, find food and interact with other
animals.
o Land Animal – They live in farms, forests, deserts, and even as pets at home.
Ex. dog, cow, and lion
o Aquatic Animal – They live in oceans, and seas, lakes, rivers and ponds.
Ex.: fish, shark, whale
o Aerial Animal – They are the animal that can fly a glide on air. They have wings and
small feet whenever they stay on the ground.
Ex.: bird, eagle, butterfly
Differentiate Activity:
Introduction of the lesson through question
o Asking all the students about their favorite animals. Ask them if they have an animal to
their house.
Discussion
o Introduction the habitat and its definition
o Teach them the three kinds of habitat
o Show to them the examples of three kinds of habitat.
o Let them realize that they must take care the environment for maintaining the home of all
animals.
o Explain to them that habitat is very important for all animals.
Question and answer activity regarding with the lesson.
