Worship Team Serving Application

Because of the high profile and spiritual nature of this team, people serving on stage and leading the
congregation in worship should aspire to be good role models of Christian living, as indicated in the Grow
Course.

Express in one sentence why you want to join the worship team?

One of my talent is music, I want to express my thankfulness to God by serving in the church
and I really love when someone got captivated and connected to God by the music I play.

I’ve been playing piano, keyboard, and filler at the Sunday service worship team for 3 years
in my country

Audition Process

Singers: Please choose one song from the Lifehouse Church song list and make a voice recording of your
singing. Please sing in Japanese and English, in the same order we would sing the song in the church
service. If your singing meets our requirements, you will be asked to do a live audition with the singers’
leader.

For the live audition you will need to do two songs from the current song list—please choose one fast song
and one slow song from the following list:

(Fast): You Are More, Within Your Plan

(Slow): My Strength, In Your Name

Musicians: Please choose one song from the Lifehouse Church song list and make a recording of your
playing. Please contact us if you need the audio of the instrument part for the song you choose.
If your playing meets our requirements, you will be asked to do a live audition with the musicians’ leader.
For the live audition, please choose one fast song and one slow song from the current song list. Please
contact us if you need the audio of the instrument part for the songs you choose.

Joining The Team

There is a 6-week trial/training period during which applicants can try the team. If either the leader or the
applicant feels not suited for the team, they can both discuss what would be a more suitable team. Leaving
or moving to another team is completely acceptable at any time given some notice.

Involvement in worship team requires regular attendance of:

Church services (weekly Sunday or Wednesday).

Bible Connect Group (weekly).

Pre-Service Rehearsals on Sunday (if on roster).

New Song Rehearsals (usually on the 4th Sunday of the month from 10:00am – 10:40am). *If you have any
concerns about your availability, please talk to the team leader.

Joining The Roster

. Applicants must successfully complete the 6-week trial/training period before being considered for
rostering.
. Applicants must be knowledgeable and proficient with the lyrics (Japanese and English) and music for all
the songs on the current church song list.

. Putting people on the roster is at the team leaders discretion. This process may be sped up or slowed
down as deemed appropriate, in consultation with the creative pastor.

オーディションのやり方

シンガー: 教会のソングリストから 1 曲選び、日本語と英語のバイリンガル歌詞で教会で歌っているのと同じ

順番で歌ったボイスメモを録ってください。歌うスキルのレベルがよいと判断されたら、 次に実際にシン

ガーリーダーの前でオーディションをしてもらいます。

そこで ソングリストから 2 曲を選び、歌ってもらいます。下記のリストから、速いテンポの曲と、ゆっくり

なテンポの曲を 1 曲ずつ選んでください。
(早い): You Are More, Within Your Plan

(ゆっくり): My Strength, In Your Name

ミュージシャン: 教会のソングリストから 1 曲選び、演奏を録音してください。選んだ曲の自分の楽器のパー

ト音源が必要な場合は連絡してください。演奏スキルのレベルが良いと判断されたら、次に実際にミュージ

シャンリーダーの前でオーディションをしてもらいます。そこでは現在のソングリストから、速いテンポの

曲と、ゆっくりなテンポの曲を 1 曲ずつ選び演奏してもらいます。曲の楽器のパート音源が必要な場合は連

絡してください。

チームに入るため

6 週間のトライアル期間は、志願者がチームを体験できる期間です。チー ムリーダーもしくは志願者のいず

れかがチームにあっていないと感じた場合、どの奉仕チームに移ることが志願者にとって合っているかを相

談することができます。事前に伝えていれば、チームから外れたり、ほかのチームに移ることはまったく問

題ありません。

ワーシップチームに参加する人は、下記への継続的な参加が求められます。

a)チャーチの礼拝（毎日曜日または毎水曜日）
b)バイブルコネクトグループ（毎週）

c)礼拝前のリハーサル（ロスターに載っている場合）

d)新曲リハーサル（通常、月の第 4 日曜日の朝 10:00～10:40 で行います）

*参加について懸念点がある場合は、チームリーダーと相談してください。

ロスターに載る

. ロスターに載るかの検討がされる前に、6 週間のトレーニング期間を終了していることが条件になります

. 志願者は、現在のソングリストに載っている曲の歌詞（日本語と英語）及び曲構成を熟知、習得していな

ければいけません

. チームリーダーはクリエイティブパスターと相談の上、メンバーを 6 週間の定められた期間よりも早くロス

ターに載せたり、もっと時間をかけることもできます
