Provided patient care: head-to-toe assessments, glucose checks, took vital signs,
gave medications, charting in EPIC, therapeutic communication.
Suitcase Clinic, Healthcare for the Homeless (45 clinical hours) Jan. – Mar. 2018
Provided basic patient care to groups of local residents who were homeless and in
need of medical attention, practiced paper charting, assessment skills, took vital
signs, therapeutic communication, foot care clinic, worked with PA students.
