Causes of Unpredictable Legal Events

Unethical deals with competitors, institutions and some government bodies which has some
impact on facing the unpredictable legal events. Some other causes can include the vendors,
customers and even the employees engaging themselves into some sort of behavioral issues
which ultimately creates some legal events for the organization.

And also The unpredictability of the legal events makes them difficult to anticipate and hence, it
is challenging for the business persons to manage them also.

The unpredictable legal events are often overlooked by someone who is setting up a new
corporation or organization. To lessen the impact of the unpredictable legal events, one should
contemplate the likelihood of facing at least some unexpected legal actions against the business
and its operation at some point of time, in the near future.

And also Some sections of society have legal issues with some products, but there are customers
who are interested to buy those products. Always this was phenomenon prevailed, the causes

bodies. Rather going for suit, go for solution as it makes your company professional.
 Newbury Comics Legal Issue

In the video given,there can be two types of legal issues which can arise.

First issue can be, few of the segments of the community felt that few products of Newbury
Comics are challenging to deal with and even offensive to some extent.

So, there were some complaints from some of the special interest groups which escalated to
legal events. Second issue is with the compliance of new policy with the employment laws and
regulations.

As the complaints were made in legal channels, so Newbury Comics also handled them by legal
professionals.

As Newbury Comics did not had any in-house legal councils, they dealt with the outside lawyers
and bore the high costs for the legal actions. Generally, it has been found that Newbury Comics
have outside legal council to deal with the complaints against the employment laws and
regulations, so that to check with the employment laws and regulation when formulating the new
policy.

Handling of them

 Newbury does not have legal counsel, they hire outside lawyers, outside legal counsel to
solve legal problems. They hire specialist to solve them.
 Newbury solve because they are not guilty of them but have to go for legal process to
solve them.
 They anyway quote all the necessary precautions, warnings for product.
