Pluralization grammar worksheet

 Most nouns are created just by adding "s" to the singular

apple apples chicken chickens book books

 We add "es" to the nouns that end with "s, ss, x, z, ch, sh, o" to make them plural

box boxes witch witches bus buses

 We change "y" to "i" and add "es" to the nouns that end with "y" preceded by a
consonant

baby babies lady ladies ferry ferries

 If the word ends with "f" or "fe", we change "f" or "fe" to "ves" to make plurals

 Some common nouns have irregular plurals
