Study Group Meet next Sabbath – 4:00 PM. The bible
topic for discussion is "The Judgement". Let's open

Choir Announcement: The fall season for the church
choir is upon us! Choir Practices resume Friday

15th @7pm. Church board officers are asked to be

Pastor Appreciation Month - October is pastor
appreciation month. Keep our pastor and his family in
your prayers and express your love to them.
Monthly Open House Community Service
Wednesday, October 10th, from 4 to 7 pm. Setting up
is done on Tuesday evening starting at 5 pm.
Volunteers are needed for both dates.

October 20 2018 - The Kingsway College Aerials will be
leading out in the Worship Hour. A fellowship Lunch and
supper will be provided. The aerobatic program will take
place in the evening. Details to follow
Saturday, November 3rd @ 7pm: Benefit Concert (380
Manor Rd. @ Talbot, St. Thomas). The St. Thomas SDA
Church is reaching out to the community with a music
concert. Admission is free; A freewill offering will be taken to
benefit the Canadian Bible Society. Refreshments to follow.
November 17, 2018: We were created to celebrate: 120
years ago (July 1898), the first Seventh-day Adventist
Church was organized in London. The Church in London
was birthed amidst disappointments, hostility and
perseverance. On November 17, let us celebrate our
Adventist Heritage, our place in history, and our cultural
diversity as together we endeavor to be a part in growing
God's Kingdom on earth. Dr. Mansfield Edwards, Ontario
Conference President will be the speaker. Following the
Fellowship Lunch, we will have a Songfest, please give
your family's favorite hymn and contemporary song to
Heather Baptiste by October 31. Please share any
pictures or memorabilia of past events, pastors and church
family with Ritchi Pandaleke, they will be scanned and
returned. Place in an envelope, add a brief note about the
picture. If you would like to be part of the planning
committee for the 125th anniversary in 2023, let Clara
Baptiste, or Pastor Atencio know.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY

Crowd all the good works you possibly can into this life. Jesus
would have all who profess His name become earnest
workers. It is necessary that every individual member build
upon the rock Christ Jesus. A storm is arising that will wrench
and test the spiritual foundation of everyone to the utmost.
Therefore, avoid the sandbed; hunt for the rock. Dig deep; lay
your foundation sure. Build, oh, build for eternity! Build with
tears, with heartfelt prayers. Let every one of you, from
henceforth; make your life beautiful by good works. Calebs are
