and difficult for them to master.

This is where a teacher must offer hope and encouragement by

celebrating any and all victories no matter how big or small the accomplishment is. If a teacher

can remain optimistic and dedicated to the cause it will serve as a huge confidence builder to the

student. Overall passion and concem for children with special needs are necessary to be a good

special education teacher.

The future steps I plan to undertake in order to achieve my goals are planning on

finishing up my associate degree and then transfer over to IINLV to obtain my bachelor degree

in speciai education. In between I also plan on looking into working as a substitute teacher and or

do the alternative substitution for special education which will help me out in getting a better

sense of my ca"reer. I am willing to go the extra mile if necessary to get to where I need to be I

am ready to start this wonderful journey.
