TO WHOMSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN,
Dear Sir/ Madam,
Greetings from Indian Cancer Society !
Indian Cancer Society (ICS) was established in 1951 by Dr. DJ. Jussawalla and Mr. Naval Tata
2¢ India's first voluntary, non-profit, National Organization for Awareness, Screening, Cure
and Survivorship of those affected with this disease.
Spreading awareness regarding tobacco related issues is one of the most important aspects
in the crusade against cancer. We at ICS have taken up the mantle for conducting Anti-
tobacco awareness among the students in government schools since children in these
schools are more susceptible to this habit,
Mr. Karan Samat, the bearer of this letter is an 11" grade student from Cathedral Schoo}
who has conducted such awareness sessions for ICS before. Taking this project forward we
would like to recruit more such volunteers so that more government schools can be
benefitted with such programs,
Mr. Samat is hereby authorised to represent Indian Cancer Society at your school in order to
discuss this opportunity with your students and induct those interested in this program.
The volunteers will subsequently be trained at Indian Cancer Society to conduct Tabacco
Related Awareness Activities in underprivileged sections of the society. On completion of
their respective projects ICS will issue a letter of appreciation to the volunteers.
Look forward to this significant contribution from your students for a noble cause.
Best Regards,
eens
