Rain Intensity Duration Frequency is needed for estimation of extreme rainfall for design purposes.

In
order to obtain the RIDF curve, Pearson Type III will be used.

Step 1: Preparing annual maximum data series.

From the estimated rainfall data using Theissen Method, rainfall series for different durations are
developed.

Step 2: Fitting the probability distribution using Log Pearson Type III distribution with the equation:β
