The relation between human and animals.

Firstable i want to share a quote with you, “The love for all living creatures is the most
noble attribute of a man” from Charles Darwin, before read this quote maybe you are
thinking that I’m an ecologist or a biology student, but you are wrong, I’m just an
engineering student that have been learned to see the world with other eyes, in this
case i will write about the importance of animals that live in zoos and I want to ask you
a couple of questions, ¿did you visit a zoo before? ¿what do you think about
organizations that protect the animal? This is a really controversial topic in the
Colombian society, but in this opportunity i want to expose two views about this, one
of view is that the purpose of zoos should be to educated people about animals and
the other is that the purpose should be animal conservation.
With the pass of the years the human has been consolidated as an intelligent animal,
in some cases noble and in other cases really dangerous, but what kind of interest can
include the relation with others animals?, a person or an organization that begin the
project to build a zoo and expose all this kind of animals to the public should have a
clear idea about what would they do. For this case if the final goal is to educated
people they have to put all their knowledge to develop this project trying to give a
message to the visitors, maybe to the students that are the most common public in the
zoos also induce visitors to reflect about their relation and contributions to the
animals.
By other side the people that think that the most important think is the animal
conservation they would try to join with and animal organization that is a completely
different thing that a zoo and work together for the animals rights, well before talk
about these points of view I can conclude that both be part of a cycle for example all
actions that humans do affect in the good or bad way to the animals, so we can’t just
choose one side in this case “education of people” or “animal conservation”, however
we should try to do our best to contribute to this problem.
