Explain to students that Jesus entered into a new Covenant relationship


with his people during the Last Supper

Inform students that Jesus and his disciples ate a Passover meal
together before Jesus’ passion and death. Jesus’ Final Passover meal
with his friends is known as the Last Supper

Activity 1: Retell of the Last supper

Activity 2: Connection of the Passover and the Eucharist T Chart

Explain to students that the Passover meal has been celebrated for over
4000 years and elements are still celebrated today through the
Sacrament of the Eucharist

Activity 3: Group Work on the Need for God’s Guidance

each group
● Finally the teacher will be able to assess the students through
their verbal contribution to the class discussion on the need for
God’s guidance and the acquiring of particular characteristics
needed to overcome difficulties
