DESIGNING SUSTAINABLE HOMES

Your local community is looking to redevelop a block of land which can fit 24 homes.
Your task is to design a home that can be built in the new development.

The community is looking to make the redevelopment as eco-friendly as possible, your


task is to design a home that uses as many sustainable features as possible.

GENERATING DESIGNS

You will be required to research sustainable homes and identify some sustainable features that
you could include in your home. From this research you will then be required to create a draft
design and a final design of your home.

PRESENTATION

Your home will be presented at the end of term at an exhibition which your parents and family
will be invited to. Along with presenting your home you will also present your research and draft
designs.
