Mise-en-Scene

Costume
Mise-en-scene is the arrangement of either scenery, props or costume.
The fashion Dua Lipa wears is edgy and quite unique. I would like to convey the
same/similar vibe in my music video.

Fur coat
Shirts/floral shirts
Different hairstyles (hair up/down)
Glitter
 Another artist I have looked at for fashion and
costume ideas is Selena Gomez. Both artists portray
an urban vibe that I hope to convey in my own music
video and will hopefully appeal to my target
audience which is the C1 C2, D and E audience
demographic.

Props
Having investigated ‘Ring Ring’ by Jax Jones and Mabel, they have used a prop
of a telephone. I believe that this does impact the target audience, as it makes
it visual and easier for audience interaction. Looking at the lyrics of the song I
have chosen, I would hope to also use a phone as I feel it is relevant and will
have greater impact on my target audience.
