 A updated financial support document (if dated more than 6 months) with
letter from sponsor needs to be submitted before a new I-20 and letter of
acceptance can be issued for the requested deferred semester.

You do not need to submit a new application or application fee for the first deferment.

If currently in the United States with another University’s I-20, you will need to submit the
following documents:

_____ Copy of current U.S. University’s I-20
_____ Copy of I-94 (white card issued at U.S. Port-of-Entry)
_____ Copy of Passport and Visa
_____ International Student Status Transfer Form: http://www.tamuk.edu/apply/
_____ Official transcript from current U.S. University attending
_____ Contact TAMUK Office of Admissions for any missing documents
_____ Release of SEVIS record from current university to Texas A&M University-
Kingsville (contact International Student Services before requesting SEVIS
