This document is a unity statement forming an alliance of professionals called the Alliance of Professionals for the Repeal of CPO Law of 2016. It was signed on June 6, 2018 in Quezon City, Philippines. The alliance believes that professional practice should serve Filipino people and that the PRC regulates professions to ensure high standards. However, they are alarmed that the CPO Law of 2016 will exploit professionals and be used for money-making, facilitating professional exodus, and burdening professionals with high seminar costs. Therefore, the alliance commits to uniting affected professions to repeal the CPO Law of 2016.
