FAMILY BASED LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM IN

MY HOUSE
Father:

Coming back from the National Meeting of Teenagers affected by HIV/AIDS in Bolivia and their
fathers and mothers living with HIV, I feel sorrow. I heard so much pain and lack of forgiveness, some
people cried for reasons that are so real that I am not sure how can I cope with all the pain I witnessed.
Many of this people need you desperately. After this forum I am more convinced you wanted me to start
this Family and Community Based Leadership Training Program for emerging leaders living with
HIV in Bolivia.

The program includes intensive training in La Paz with the NGO Asuncami, but also an emotional and
spiritual support component which is the principal part; this is why it will be based on my home and my
family. Emerging leaders living with HIV will stay in my house for one month. During the weeks and the
days, they will learn a lot of technical abilities with Asuncami staff, but during the nights and the
weekends they will spend time with my family. The purpose of this integral training is that the emerging
leaders gain technical and spiritual support at the same time. The emerging leaders will be adopted by
my family for one month, and hopefully they will have a personal encounter with You Father.

Please help me designing the program for Angelica who is the first person coming from August 15-
September 15. Father make that month the time for her to know You as her Savior, make those days,
moments of love with my family and house in La Paz.

I thank you for this idea you gave me and although we don't have funding to scale up this program, I
thank you for the support you gave me and me my family, which is enough to share.

Father you know how much suffering has there been in the life of Angelica, you know her sorrows. I
thank you for her disposition to know you and thank you because she is beginning to see how much you
love her. Father, please meet Angelica at my house; restore her body, her soul and her life. I also pray
for the total restoration of her little daughter, both of them coming out of terrible experiences with
domestic violence.

Father, please make my family a community of restoration for Angelica and her daughter (Daniela) and
meet Angelica as her Savior during this month. This is your idea; help us implementing it according to
your will.
