Ellis then came up big for an under pressure Macquarie and he capped a
10 play drive for the score. Not to be outdone but Louis Kenese got open over the
middle and Fuad had his second touchdown pass to be back within three.
Excitement reached fever pitch when Adam Tavita picked Ilett and
Palasia kicked a 40 yard field goal to have the game tied away with 8-1/2 to go.
But under pressure Macquarie rolled back down the field and set up
Fauid from 38 yards away for the game winning field goal. ANU still had time and
chances but finished with an interception and a fumble.
