The game was on the line and one thing about
Auckland and there Quarterback Lalogafu is that they do
enjoy and embraced the big moments. Lalogafu started to
share the ball around with Thomas Heyer and Antnio Calloway
key receivers. But it would be Fullback Sam Jowett who
caught a swing pass to the left and scored the winner. The
Pirates simply won the big moments and whilst Brisbane
proved hard to beat, it was the Pirates confidence and
ability to score when needed that got the job done.
