PERT-CPM Critical Path Overview

Float is zero is a critical path. The critical path in a project network diagram is the longest path of activities that must be completed on schedule for the whole project to finish on time. The activities on the critical path have no float or slack time - if they are delayed, the whole project will be delayed.
