- Introduction: when you were a sweet innocent child, have you ever done something against
the law?something minor like stealing an apple from your neighbour’s tree? Well, I’m gonna
present to you some children that weren’t as innocent as you were at that age.
- I will talk about inoocence lost in time from a methaphoric point of view or juvenile crime
from a legal perspective.
- TITLE: STOLEN INNOCENCE OR LOST INNOCENCE?
- When you hear someone have been murder, you usually assume that the killer was an
adult. Why? Maybe because of the brutality of the act itself or maybe because you do
not expect an innocent child to be able to commit it.
- Kipland Kinkel: Kipland Philip "Kip" Kinkel is a schizophrenic spree killer and school
shooter who, on May 20, 1998, murdered his parents, and then committed a school
shooting at his former school, Thurston High, killing two students and wounding twenty-
five others. After killing his parents, Kinkel dragged their bodies, covered them with
sheets, and then booby-trapped them by placing five explosives under the corpses, but
this trap failed.
- In November 1999, Kinkel was sentenced to 111 years in prison without the possibility
of parole. At sentencing, Kinkel apologized to the court for the murder of his parents and
the shooting spree.[5]
