Task 1 reflection:

Through what I observed in kg-2A I can say confidently that kg2 kids responded to WH and

closing questions. Firstly, I will explain what does WH and closing questions mean. WH

questions start with WH letters such as what, when, where, who, why, and how ("WH-

Question," 2018). On other hands, closing questions mean the questions required a short answer

“Yes or No”. ("Closed Questions," 2018). I guess, the reason why children encourage and

interact with this type of questions because it’s simple to their age and almost all the children can

understand this question. I saw children were so motivated with WH and closing questions when

the open activity where the teacher shows the children flashcards that start with letter \Aa\. For

example, my MST asked them What do you see in the picture? What the color of the apple? It’s

aunt? Etc. and the children were responded to this type of questions. I believe that this is an

appropriate question for kindergarten student because it develops children language when they

tell us and describe what they see in the picture. Another point to consider WH questions and

could fit with children level what I mean it’s suitable to children language they understand it

easily.
