Globalization and the advancement of information and communication technologies, Control
and automation techniques are the prominent key drivers for the growth of the Health Sector.

OBJECTIVE
The advent of healthcare reform and the reduction of reimbursement, rising cost of Medical
supplies and equipments are some of the major concerns which have impacted the hospital
revenues and budgets. Cost containment in health arena is the major need of the hour. Hence
Supply Chain has now assumed a tremendous role in hospital operations and is involved in
