Graphic Organizer

Students will be asked to solve a graph for a real-world movement curve. Students
will need to find such points as x-intercepts, y-intercepts, or the vertex. These
points will relate to our scenario as our max/min, take-off, landing, making a shot,
etc.

In groups of 2-3 students will work together on how to solve a given quadratic, list
all possible approaches and the pros and cons of each approach. You do not need to
provide your work on the handout only your reasoning for the approaches you
chose. You most likely will need to use more than one approach to solve the
quadratic so make sure to including reasoning for each one you choose. 1-2 short
sentences required.
