explains the concepts of, Consumerism and Affluenza

 Suggest how consumerism may lead to affluenza
 Benefits of consumerism.

 Disadvantages of affluenza

Extension Task
 Research the standard of living of a third world country and
Australia.
 Compare the availability of,
o nutritional food choices,
o housing,
o education,
o health services
o and any other standard
of living indicators you choose.

 Suggest reasons why the differences exist. (Include,

social, political, economic and environmental reasons in
your response.
 Recommend and explain one way of improving the
standard of living of this third world country.
