Dear Rockingham County Advisory Board:

For my topic I chose the importance of volunteering in the community. I chose this because I
have a lot of experience in volunteering at the school and in the community. Some of the
experiences I have are being on the sports medicine at the school working with the very
different sports team we have, I have also volunteered with HOSA during the blood drives we
have at the school but I also help with the blood drive at my church as well.

The focus of my research will be the importance of volunteering. I want to know what impact
volunteering has on different communities. Some of those communities include school, church,
neighborhood, and city communities.

My Product plan is to organize and to host a blood drive and can food drive. This will be a
challenge because I will have to get in touch with the red cross and a food bank for me to
donate everything to, and have to let people know so they can donate. My expert will be a lady
from my church named Trista Durham. I want to work with this person because she has hosted
blood drives at our church before.

Understanding the importance of plagiarism is very important. Plagiarism is a problem if a

person is caught having plagiarism in there paper they can get expelled from school or make it
be a issue with getting into collage. It is important do be an ethical person that way more people
will respect the writer.
