Improvement plan for the logistics process

When analyzing the difficulties of the company, it can be observed that

there are several aspects that can be subject to improvements and / or
modifications.

The most suitable logistics plan depends on the policy of supply, volume
of supply, transport system and existing warehouses, products and
elements handled.

In general you should get

1. Reduce the transport used, not only in terms of the distances traveled
and stages used, but mainly looking for the grouping of them pure to
achieve citrus dimensions.

2. Reduce the necessary manipulations, trying to change the merchandise

of place the least number of times.

3. Reduce stocks, trying to minimize them, as well as the volume and

space occupied by them.

4. Acquire the materials in the most suitable way for their consumption,
avoiding as much as possible the unpacking, adaptations and subsequent
preparations.

5. Reduce the number of controls, postings and necessary revisions,

making them as simple as possible.

The main purpose is to reduce the necessary logistics process to the

maximum, making it easier, simpler, more economical and more
comfortable, employing the minimum human and material resources.
