About The Instructors:

MARK CHANDLER is currently Health and Personal Care Technical Manager at Uniqema, a business unit of ICI plc. Prior to joining ICI he was with Kline &
Company, a market and acquisitions research firm. He started his career with Hoechst AG. His more than 15 years in personal care started in sales, then
marketing, before moving up to the technical side. He holds a degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina.

ART GEORGALAS has conducted formulation work and applied research in cosmetics, toiletries, skin, sun and hair care at Revlon, Shulton, Charles of the Ritz and
DowBrands/ LaMaur in a career that spans more than thirty years. Currently he is Director of Research and Development at TRI-K Industries, Inc. in Northvale,
New Jersey, U.S. – a leading supplier of innovative ingredients to the personal care industry. Some of their major focus areas are inorganic sunscreen dispersions
and colloidal delivery systems through the New Paradigm Technologies division, proteins through the Maybrook Company as well as Botanicals and plant derived
active ingredients. Arthur is an inventor or co-inventor on a number of US patents in areas of skin care, sunscreens and cosmetics. He has also contributed articles
to various trade journals and the book SUNSCREENS 2nd ed., Marcel Dekker publishers. He is active in NYSCC and IFSCC committees and has presented at many
technical and trade conferences. A graduate of CCNY (City College of New York), he also completed the Masters Program (M.S. degree) in Pharmaceutics,
specialty in Cosmetic Science at the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences of LIU (Long Island University)
