Visio Add-in for Database Modeling Setup

1 32/64 bit MSI

Check File->Account->About Visio to see if you have X86(32 bit)/ X64(64 bit) Visio and make sure you
downloaded the appropriate MSI. Following is a snapshot of the splash screen:

2 Installation
Please ensure that Microsoft Visio is not running. To start the installation process, double-click the appropriate
MSI file and click Next as shown in the following screen.

Click on Install to start the installation process. A screen showing the installation progress will appear
Click on Finish to complete installation.
3 Getting started
Once the add-on is installed, Launch Visio and go to File -> New -> Templates -> Software and Database
and launch ‘Database Model Diagram’ Template.

4 Uninstall
Please ensure that Microsoft Visio is not running. To start the uninstall process, go to Control Panel click
Uninstall a program.

In the currently installed programs screen, select the entry Visio add-on for Database Modeler and click
Uninstall.
