Identify a lesson and what standards are you addressing
The lesson was about understanding the relationship between division and subtraction.

Describe (D):
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson? Teaching the students how to find the division output
using the repeated subtraction

What did the students do? The students worked on solving division problem. Each student had one
problem, one type of sweet picture and topping decoration. They read the problem using the repeated
subtraction method then they decorate the sweet based on the output of the division operation.

Analyze (A):
Why do you think the students responded the way that they did? Because the lesson required
multiplication table and most of them were struggling in finding the answers.

How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding? By revising and discussing each
point and try to relate each thing with something in their real life.

How well did you engage the students? Through using students centered activities, hand on material, and
group works

Did your lesson meet your teaching goals?

Yes, most of the students understood the lesson because when I marked their book their answers were
correct.
Transform (T):
How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future? Through implementing
differentiation in my activities.

What are the implications for your professional practice? I understand that differentiation is something
important for the activities because its let the student to do work in their levels.

Using activities that are excited and match students interest to engage them more.
