-Hazel
The search for the Campus King and Queen, one of the most highlighted event during the MCNP-
ISAP founding anniversary, was again made possible by 8 pairs of candidates from the different
departments last March 1, 2018 at the MCNP-ISAP gymnasium.
Among the candidates, Sergie John Castillo & Ritzy Rosales, who were both from the Blue team,
were crowned as the Campus King and Campus Queen, respectively. Other victorious
candidates were Pierre Andrew Mirasol from the Blue team and Jessa Mae Beltran from the
Green team landed as first runners-up; John Dominic Alonzo from the Red team and Krista Kate
Guillermo, from the White team were the 2nd runners-up.

Aside from these awards, minor awards were also awarded; Castillo snatched the Best in
Formal Attire award and the Texters’ Choice Award; Rosales was the Miss Photogenic, Best in
Evening Gown and Best in Creative Attire awards. Mirasol was the Best in Creative Attire, Mr.
Friendship, Best in Casual Wear and Mr. Photogenic; Beltran got the Ms. Friendship award;
Juliebeth Vargas was the Best in Casual Wear and the Texters’ Choice Awardee.

The pageant was not only a night of beauty and physique but also of wit and intelligence.
During the preliminary round’s question and answer portion, each candidate had to pick up a
question and was given a short time to explain his or her answer in the most precise way.

“A mighty eagle like me should have the compassion in our hearts for us to be able to
unconditionally extend and anchor help to others. A mighty eagle is just like me; fearless,
passionate, powerful, majestic and energetic,” said the crowned Campus Queen 2018.

“Innovative is all about changes. Change your weakness to be your strength”, a challenge
left by the crowned Campus King 2018.

It was indeed a sizzling occasion for the mighty eagles, shouting and cheering for their
respective representatives.
