NASPE Standard(s): Standard 1 - The physically literate individual demonstrates competency in a variety of motor skills and
movement patterns.
Standard 2 - The physically literate individual applies knowledge of concepts, principles, strategies and tactics related to movement
and performance.
Standard 4 - The physically literate individual exhibits responsible personal and social behavior that respects self and others.
Achievement Targets:
Students will gain a better understanding in the importance of hand-eye coordination
Students will show proficiency in basic agility ladder footwork
Special Planning/Preparations (i.e. safety concerns, etc.):
Rules: Once the students are have finished the dynamic 15-20 Agility ladder,
warm-up, they will be walked through a series of Min footballs.

two out, skier, and salsa) a basic square cone drill
(backpedal, side shuffle, sprint, side shuffle). Upon
completing the first two stations, the class will separate
into the partners they had at the beginning of class with
a football. One parter will stand facing away from their
partner. The students with the footballs will give a
“ready, go” and throw the ball to their partners as they
jump and do a 180 degree turn to catch the ball.
Activity: The class will separate into two teams. The 10-15 Agility ladder, The size of the groups will determine how many
two teams will compete to finish a circuit series of the Min footballs agility ladder movements will be done.

Start to finish:
1. Agility ladder (skier, two in two out, salsa)
2. Turn and catch
3. Square drill
4. Sprint through and catch a pass
The first group to finish through the agility stations as
well as catch two balls before they finish wins.
